Sleek Audio New SA7 In-Ear Monitors

Sleek Audio has confirmed a new set of high-end in-ear headphones, the SA7. The new flagship SA7 improves on its predecessor, the SA6, and retains its user-adjustable VQ system for adjusting treble and bass.

The body is new, and machined from a single block of aluminum with a carbon fiber shell attached with titanium screws. Inside the body are dual balanced armature transducers surrounded by silicone that are capable of absorbing up to 14,000 Gs of force, eliminating the fragility sometimes associated with earbuds.

The SA7s will be compatible with the wireless Kleer system, though the SA7s have a new built-in controller with track skip buttons and other control features.

Pricing for the SA7 is unannounced, but expected in the $400 range, though the wireless Kleer system will likely add another $100. A release is expected later this summer.
