    Origin Genesis PC First to Run ASUS Rampage III Extreme

    ORIGIN™ PC is the first to market the new Rampage III motherboard from ASUS for the award winning GENESIS desktop, and offers the latest graphics cards including the ATI Radeon 5870 and the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M card on the EON15 and EON18.

    ORIGIN is updating their GENESIS desktops by adding the new ASUS Rampage III Extreme motherboard which offers robust overclocking solutions for the newest Intel Core i7 CPUs, such as the Core i7-980X Extreme. It also supports NVIDIA 3-way SLI and ATI CrossFireX support, and tags on a pair of USB 3.0 ports and SATA III. ASUS’ new overclocking system allows gamers to control the speed of the system from a nearby Bluetooth phone, and users can backup or move BIOS overclock settings on a USB stick to share with others.     The ORIGIN EON15 and EON18 laptops both offer additional options that give PC enthusiasts the flexibility of choosing what they want. Among the additions to the EON15 are the options of the ATI Radeon 5870 mobile graphics card supporting DirectX 11 and the NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M for professional workstation graphics on the go. The EON18 also adds the option the for NVIDIA Quadro FX 2800M and multiple 1TB hard drives while both the EON18 and EON15 now offer 512GB Solid State hard drives options. The EON15 starts at $1,623 and the EON18 starts at $1,765.
