3D HDTVs are trickling into stores, and 3D capable Blu-ray players are coming right with them. LG’s first entry into the fold, the BX580, is now available for pre-order at Amazon. According to the site, it’s expected to ship within the next two months.
Specs for the device include HDMI 1.4 support, DLNA, internet connectivity for web content, and support for 3D 1080p, of course. The BX580 is on Amazon’s website, priced at $399.99 and proudly listed as the company’s first network 3D Blu-ray player.
Aside from having the ability to handle forthcoming 3D Blu-ray titles, it also ships with NetCast Entertainment Access, giving users the ability to enjoy web connected content without bothering with a HTPC.
The BX580 is currently available for pre-order for $400.
