Acer will intro tablet line November 23rd

Acer has plans to launch a tablet PC line. Acer is currently the second largest PC maker in the world.  Acer wants a big part of the tablet marketing, considering tablets have already begun to canibalize PC sales. They plan on launching a series of tablets ranging in price from $299 to $699. While no specifics were discussed, Acer CEO Gianfranco Lanci didn’t even reveal whether the company’s first run of tablets would run Android or Windows 7.

He did indicate that Acer’s first tablet offering would launch on November 23rd.
