Samsung Galaxy S II will be announced on August 29th by Sprint, T-Mobile and AT&T under various names. Verizon is waiting for a separate delayed announcement on a comparable but different model.
Samsung is gearing up an announcement, detailing their U.S. versions of its GALAXY S II smartphone.
Pocketnow.com published an image of the GALAXY S II phones that are headed to AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint.
Based on the picture, AT&T’s version looks unchanged from the European model, except for the absence of the hardware home button.
T-Mobile and Sprint models look like they got rid of the sharp corners for more rounded edges. Sprint will brand the device as the Samsung Epic Touch 4G.
Verizon Wireless will not announce a Galaxy S II model on August 29th, but will offer a comparable model in the near future.
Stay tuned for the official announcement.
