VAIS Technology  has a new product out called the iVICi system, which is an in-car media interfaces that transforms your Android phone into a complete entertainment system. VAIS specializes in integrating devices into in-car navigation systems.  The iVIC (in-Vehicle Infotainment Center) for Android is compatible with most Toyota and Lexus models from 2006 onward.  Phone-wise, it supports the DROID Bionic, DROID RAZR/MAXX, Galaxy Note, Galaxy S III and the EVO 4G LTE, and it allows users to connect their Android phones directly into their in-car displays.

Using HDMI output, the iVIC system is able to mirror a compatible Android smartphone’s display, granting access to virtually any app from a car’s navigation system. Whether you are looking to call a friend, get directions or play a game, it can all be done through the navigation screen. The system also allows you to control your Android devices using the car’s touchscreen.

The iVIC for Android kit is being offered for $649.
