The new Hunter Universal Internet Thermostat can connect to your home’s WiFi, which means you can access the thermostat’s controls any where you’ve got an Internet connection, along with receiving temperature alerts when your home exceeds a preset threshold. Hunter says that the Universal Internet Thermostat installs in just 5-minutes thanks to color coded wires and self-anchoring screws. Other features include the ability to program 7-days separately, a large backlit display, and its compatible with a wide array of heating and cooling systems. It runs on 4 AA batteries for up to one year, or you can hardwire it into the wall. An iOS app is available, or you can simply use the mobile interface. The Hunter Universal Internet Thermostat is available now.
