For the African market in mind, LG has unveiled a new air conditioning unit. The new air condition unit is designed particularly for African countries like Nigeria.  Definitely, necessity is the mother of invention; LG thoughtfully invents the “Anti-Mosquito” air conditioning unit for those people who suffer from malaria, which is prevalent in many of African countries. LG applies a technology that helps repel mosquitoes. It is based on ultrasonic waves, and is a powerful tool for effectively overcoming malaria. The air conditioning unit can deter malaria-transmitting Anopheles mosquitoes in 24 hours at 64%; this according to some conducted tests.

Another compelling feature is the ability to work with power fluctuation where electricity fluctuates. The air-con has a Super Automatic Voltage Switcher, which means blackouts and surges are covered and the conditioning unit is safe.
