LG is synonymous with TVs, but the South Korean company hopes to be recognized as more with their wearable fitness devices, which they’re debuting at this year’s CES. The new LG Lifeband Touch fitness band displays physical activity info and calories burned on its swipe-friendly OLED touchscreen, and pairs up with Android and IOS devices to receive incoming calls and messages. It pairs nicely with their Hearth Rate Monitor earphones that not only function as traditional earbuds, but can also track heartbeats by measuring signals from your inner ear.
Currently, there’s no info on when either will be released or how much they’ll cost, but more news will most likely surface after the show.
