Speed-Trac X Radar Gun Review (video)

    Speedtrac X

SpeedTrac X Radar Gun 52000 may be inexpensive, but it carries all the power of some of the more sophisticated speed guns.  Essentially, it’s a non-hendheld speed radar that’s pretty terrific for a lot of sports…tennis, baseball, hockey, soccer, racquetball, skating, cycling, racing, lacrosse…any sport that requires a speed gauge of your moving sports equipment, (ball, puck, cycle or car).  If YOU, yourself, is the moving target, you can even measure your own human speed.  If it moves, SpeedTrac can clock it.

The SpeedTrac X sports a built-in, easy-to-read 3-digit LED display, which can be mounted on any standard camera tripod for hands-free operation.  Both features allow the SpeedTrac X to be used by the actual player.  No need anymore for a companion to be clocking your swing or throw.  The athlete has total autonomy and control over the SpeedTrac X.

The SpeedTrac X features enhanced advanced digital processing, and utilizes Doppler radar to track.  Additionally, its tracking performance has been enhanced, thanks to a new OS and the newly engineered 2-layer PCB Speedtrac X 3board, with superior quality board components and the preferred x-band Doppler Dielectric Resonator Module utilizing a state-of-art FET (field effect transistor).

SpeedTrac is known for superior radar products, and the SpeedTrac X 52000 is no exception, offering the athlete immediate feedback for whatever sport you’re into. It’s an invaluable tool for coaches, parents and children, to improve learning and practice session efficiency. It is the best and most affordable non-hand-held radar gun available on the market today.

During our test, the SpeedTrac X measured nearly everything we threw at it….or by it. We had our doubts about such a small footprint product, which could perform similar to the likes of professional radar guns, but we were not disappointed. SpeedTrac X works as advertised.  Additionally, it’s a completely portable solution for those coaches that travel a lot and need to measure pitches or velocities of those athletes they’re scouting.  The SpeedTrac X runs around $150, and you can purchase it on their website or through[amazon_link id=”B003FSFUHC” target=”_blank” container=”” container_class=”” ]Amazon[/amazon_link].
