Alcatel is no slouch to offering affordable phones with pretty decent specs, and now the company is back with another. Alcatel just announced the Alcatel Onyx smartphone, and is available on Cricket Wireless for $120.The Alcatel Onyx has a lot going for it. Firstly, its design is pretty sleek. On the front of the device, you’ll find a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1,440 x 720. On the right side, you get a power button and a volume rocker, while on the back there’s an LED flash and a dual-sensor camera. And on the bottom is a MicroUSB port for charging.
Inside, the Onyx features a MediaTek MT6739WW processor, coupled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage. And if you want more storage, the device comes with a MicroSD card slot. A 3,000mAh battery powers the unit, which will give you up to 7.5 hours of talk time on 4G.The dual-sensor camera is fantastic for the price of the phone. The sensors themselves come in at 13 megapixels and 2 megapixels, and they’re capable of capturing video at up to 1,080p. The front-facing camera on the device comes in at 5 megapixels.
