Sure Petcare: SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect Review

In case you have multiple pets in your home where some might steal others’ food, or you own a cat that doesn’t have healthy eating habits, and is subject to over-eating, you can easily prevent this. Sure Petcare offers the perfect solution; The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect. This is an intelligent pet feeder for peace of mind, and the perfect feeding solution for overweight cats, cats with medical conditions that require close monitoring of feeding, or multi-pet homes where one pet steals another pet’s food.

The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect links to the Sure Petcare app via the Sure Petcare Hub, which is connected to your home router. The Sure Petcare Hub is the link between your connected products and the Sure Petcare app, enabling you to control those products via the app. It plugs into your WiFi router using an ethernet cable. Each Hub can connect up to ten devices, including the company’s Sure Flap Microchip Pet Door Connect, and also features Dimmable “ears” that flash for notifications.
The SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect allows users to monitor how much their pets eat, how often they eat and gauge changes in their eating habits. Users can also check when food was last added and how much food is left in their pets’ bowl. It also helps users to add accurate weight portions for their pets by setting the portion weight and selecting the food type (wet or dry or both) while using the Sure Petcare app.

The integrated scale weighs the added food portions within 1g of accuracy, and the integrated LEDs illuminate as you add food, starting to flash when you have reached the correct weight. Lastly, the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect features Microchip Access, meaning it only permits access to a registered pet’s microchip or RFID collar tag to prevent other pets from stealing food. The lid will open along access to the food, only for those pets with programmed matching RFID collars. Pretty ingenious, huh.

There are also removable parts that allow for easy cleaning, and the option to purchase colorful full bowls or half bowls, available in Light-Blue, Green, Pink or Grey. If you’re interested in getting your own SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect together with the Sure Petcare Hub, they can be purchased together for around $215. However, if you already have a Hub, you can purchase the SureFeed Microchip Pet Feeder Connect on its own, priced at $150 and backed by a 3-year warranty that’s automatically activated after you’ve registered with the app. You can find both solutions on Sure Petcare’s website, at the end of the page, by clicking Click Here.
