Then, for its design, the XBOOM 360 RP4 features a minimalist, yet still ultra-modern 360º design throughout its whole body, and this is basically because this particular Bluetooth speaker was designed to fill a large space with its booming and high-quality sound in order to have deliver its users an authentic 360º listening experience (but more on that in the next section of the article).
On top of that, its sleek style and contemporary color also make it look as good as it sounds.
Integrated somewhat close to the top-side of the speaker, we also have a built-in Custom LED Light which is used for mood lighting, as the speaker’s LED Light can be set to work in one of nine (x9) different Lighting Presets that can be used to create cool room environments.

AUDIO QUALITY & AUDIO SPECS
As said before, the LG XBOOM 360 RP4 was designed to deliver an omnidirectional sound with crystal-clear quality in a complete 360º degrees manner and without having any sound distortion whatsoever, regardless of the sound range.
That’s because, unlike the many conventional Bluetooth speakers that combine multiple sound-drivers to achieve a standard-level 360º sound experience, the LG XBOOM 360 RP4 utilizes a patented 360° Panorama Sound Technology which works flawlessly by combining a 1″ Titanium Compressed Horn Tweeter (which is basically a smaller and more compact sound-driver speaker unit) together with a 5.25“ Glass Fiber Woofer to ultimately achieve a true 360º omnidirectional sound experience with literally no sound distortion at all.
It’s exactly because of its unique and truly innovative 360º design that this portable Bluetooth Speaker is capable of delivering an astonishing and truly authentic 360º sound that can fill any room with an expansive and wide-reaching full circle sound, which again, is generated with a crystal-clear quality and without any sound distortion.

On a side note, we’d also like to mention that this portable omnidirectional wireless Bluetooth speaker is designed to be able to play audio files in two different file formats; MP3 and WMA.
INTERFACE / CONTROL PANEL & CONNECTIVITY PANEL
At the very top-side of the unit, coming integrated just below its aluminum handle, we can find the speaker’s Interface (meaning its Control Panel), which is layed out in a very simple and user-friendly manner that makes it fairly easy to understand and use.
Going from left to right, we have a Battery Status LED Light, a Power On/Off Button, a Volume Decrease Button, a Play/Pause Button, and a Volume Increase Button, followed by a Sound-Mode Selection Button, which is then followed by a Bluetooth LED Light, a USB LED Light, and an AUX LED Light.
Note that all of these buttons also have Braille Markings integrated on each of them, which is definitely a great feature to see on a Bluetooth speaker. Definitely stoked and super happy to see this integration here, as its not every Bluetooth speaker on the market (or even many) that comes with this sort of quality-of-life feature.
Then, right at the center, of the unit’s top-side, we also have a Light Control Button that can be used to control the speaker’s built-in Custom LED Light and switch its operation between its already-mentioned different Light Modes.
Moving on to the back-side of the unit, protected under a nice and durable Plastic Flap we have a Reset Button (used to reset the speaker to factory settings), a Dual Pairing button for pairing it with another XBOOM 360 RP4 via Bluetooth (as the speaker supports Dual Pairing), as well as the speaker’s USB Port (which can be used for playing music out of a USB Flash Drive), and also a AUX Input port (for a 3.5 mm audio jack).
Lastly, at the bottom-right side of the speaker, we have its Power Input port, which can be used to recharge its internal battery.
CONNECTIVITY
For its connectivity, since this is a Bluetooth speaker, the XBOOM 360 RP4 obviously utilizes Bluetooth for establishing a reasonably fast connection with other Bluetooth-enabled devices (such as your Smartphone), which, more specifically, is done by using NFC.
Thanks to that, you can quickly pair it with other Bluetooth devices without having to enter a code, as all you have to do is to simply hold your Smartphone next to the speaker in order to establish a wireless Bluetooth connection between your phone and the speaker itself.
As said earlier, the speaker also supports Dual Pairing via Bluetooth, so you can ultimately purchase two of these to have them blast an even more immersive sound in perfect synchrony.
BATTERY & BATTERY LIFE
Now, since the XBOOM 360 RP4 is designed to work as a portable Bluetooth speaker, the device also comes equipped with a built-in 3900mAh (7.4V) Lithium-Ion battery that can ultimately offer you up to 10 hours of battery life (note that this is without having its sound blasting at the maximum, of course, and without using the Dual Pairing option). Still, a nice period of time for the speaker’s total run-time.
As mentioned before, for recharging the speaker’s internal battery, all you have to do is to connect the device to power, for which its Power Input port can be found at the bottom-right side of the unit.
Note that it should only take you approximately 5 hours to have the speaker’s battery recharge from 0% back to full-power (100% battery).
THE SMARTPHONE COMPANION APP – The LG XBOOM App
Finally, users can also download the speaker’s proprietary App (called the LG XBOOM App) in order to further tune the speaker’s Sound Settings to their liking. The LG XBOOM App is available to download for free for both IOS and Android devices.
Via the App’s main menu, users can set up the speaker’s Bluetooth connectivity, as well as check the speaker’s current battery-level.
Moreover, the LG XBOOM App also users to configure the speaker to work in one of its few different Sound Mode Presets, which pack different configurations for its Sound Settings, with each of those Sound Modes being really easy to select, as they already come pre-configured to be played for a specific genre of music.
