HOW TO SET-UP / CONFIGURE?
Just like its simple and extremely intuitive design, this senior-friendly universal TV remote control also offers all of its users a quick, simple, and easy set-up process.
That said, the first step is to Set your TV to work with it, which can be done by simply pressing either of the Flipper’s Volume Buttons. If working, just go to your STB / Cable box. If not, then just press and hold the remote’s TV Button til its Power LED Light (at the top-left corner) turns on, and then enter the 4 digit code.
The next step is then to test if the set-up process worked via the Flipper’s On/Off and Volume Buttons.
(Note that for users who don’t own a STB, you simply have to press and hold the remote’s TV Button until its Power LED Light turns On, and then enter the code “970”.)
Then, to set-up connectivity with your STB, just press either of the flipper’s Channel Buttons. If working, then you’re pretty much done. If not, then you’ll just have to press and hold the remote’s STB Button until its Power LED Light turns On, for which you then just have to enter a 4 digit code.
Then another testing step follows, for which you just have to test by pressing the Flipper’s On/Off and Channel Buttons.
On a side note, in case the Flipper’s red light doesn’t flash, then start by making sure that the remote’s extra technical “favorite channel” functionalities are unlocked, which you can do by simply pressing and hold the Flipper’s ADD Channel Button until the light turns solid. Then just enter the code “956” and keep repeating this process both with your STB and TV.
As a last resort, users can also reset the Flipper to its default factory settings by just pressing and holding that same ADD Channel Button until the remote’s LED Light turns On, and finish by entering the code “954”.
Then it’s just a matter of following the Flipper’s simple setup process once more.
