DESIGN & BASIC SPECS

Starting with its size, the 8000Kicks Everyday Hemp Backpack comes at a reasonably standard size, as after all, it is designed to work as an expandable everyday-use backpack that can be converted between 18L and 30L of storage space. The back measures around 19.68 inches (50 cm) tall when using it in its smaller 18L capacity form, and around 23.62 inches (60 cm) tall when used in its larger 30L capacity form.

Note that both forms equally fit a 15″ laptop (but more on that further ahead). The backpack is also fairly lightweight, with it weighing just 2.31 lbs. (1.05 kg) when completely empty.

Then, in terms of its design, this sleek everyday-use backpack features a gorgeous, truly minimalist and ultra-modern design, with its entire body coming either in one single solid color (or two colors at most, if you’d prefer that). Last but not least, just like the backpack’s whole waterproof exterior, all of the zippers integrated within its pockets were also built to be completely waterproof.

CARRYING CAPACITY & STORAGE COMPARTMENTS

Finally, in terms of the backpack’s carrying capacity, as said before, the 8000Kicks Everyday Hemp Backpack is designed to work as an expandable everyday-use backpack that can be converted from a smaller 18L work backpack to a much larger 30L hiking backpack, meaning that this backpack features a quite a large storage capacity that allows users to carry just about anything inside it.

With that said, know that whenever you want to convert it from its smaller 18L capacity form to its larger 35L capacity form, all you have to do is to unstrap the vertical security strap from its expandable roll-top function (integrated at the top-side of the backpack).

Right after opening the backpack, you’ll notice a fairly wide open packing space that allows you to carry just about anything, whether that’s just your everyday work essentials, or even some changes of clothes for an entire weekend away from home.

It’s also important to note that the bag’s interior fabric essentially consists of a unique anti-odor lining that helps to inhibit / prevent the proliferation of microorganisms that are responsible for creating bad odors (such as the ones that originate from sweaty clothing items (or food storage containers like tupperwares).

As said before, inside the bag, we also have a large dedicated laptop sleeve that can fit up to a 15-inch laptop.

Not only that, but there’s also a tablet sleeve that can be used to store away a tablet, and if you’d like, even a book as well, as this interior pocket is large enough to easily fit both a tablet device and a small book neatly together.

Furthermore, sitting directly on the opposite side (i.e. just front) of its tablet sleeve, there are also a few extra internal pockets that can be used to store away additional everyday accessories, such as pens, a Smartphone, your house keys and/or car keys, etc.

Additionally, at the right-side of both its laptop sleeve and its extra internal pockets, there’s also a dedicated Power Bank pocket, where users can store a portable battery pack, which then also features a built-in USB plug connection to the outside of the backpack from where users can pull out their Power Bank’s dedicated USB-C or USB-A Charging Cable in order conveniently recharge their Smartphone while having it slotted within the backpack’s outer-side mesh pocket.

At the front-side of the backpack’s exterior, there’s also a large quick-access front pocket that users can use to store away any of their everyday carry items, such as a pair of wireless earbuds and their wireless charging case, for example.

Then, hidden at the back-side of the backpack exterior, there’s also an integrated Anti-Theft pocket that can be used to very safely store away any sort of important items (such as a passport and/or your wallet with all your ID cards and bank card), as only you can access this pocket after removing the backpack from your shoulders and back.

Lastly, at the right-side of the backpack’s exterior, users also have a mesh-net Water Bottle pocket, while on the left-side of the backpack’s exterior, they have a hanging belt that can be used to strap something to it, like a carabiner equipped with some additional camping or hiking gear and/or hand tools, for example.
