Starting with this mattress’ available size models, know that the GhostBed Venus Williams Legend Hybrid is currently available for purchasing in five (x5) different sizing options: Twin XL, Queen, King, Cal King, and Split King.
Now, no matter what sizing option you decide to go with, know that all the different size models for the GhostBed Venus Williams Legend Hybrid will only vary in their length and width, as all of them will come in the same thickness (i.e. height), which is exactly 12-inches thick.
When it comes to the mattress’ 12 inches of thickness (or height), it’s worth pointing out that this is quite a decent amount of thickness for a hybrid mattress such as this one, as it not only makes it fairly supportive for your entire body, but also perfect for any type of sleeper, regardless if you’re someone who prefers to sleep on their back, side, or stomach.

Essentially, the way that the mattress’ Venus FIT (Far-Infrared Technology) Layer works is by having its infused far-infrared minerals directly interacting with the heat that’s naturally generated by your body as you sleep (which commonly averages at a temperature of around 98.6° F).
Firstly, the far-infrared minerals that are infused into the mattress’ Venus FIT Layer absorbing your body’s naturally generated heat like a sponge, which consequently allows those same far-infrared minerals to generate a far-infrared light that’s then reflected back to you.
Similarly to using heat therapy directly onto any sore muscles, the far-infrared light that’s generated by the far-infrared minerals that come infused within the mattress’ Venus FIT Layer slowly penetrates deep into your skin, which basically “warms” your muscles and ultimately helps to improve blood flow and circulation as you sleep.
Note that since this is in fact a bed mattress (and not a body-wearable gadget with infrared light technology for muscle recovery), users will obviously have to go through the average 8 hours of sleep in order to allow the mattress to promote that said faster muscle recovery via its Venus FIT Layer, which is what will ultimately allow their body to recover and heal properly.
In other words, the mattress’ Far-Infrared Technology from its Venus FIT Layer will only work over the course of an entire night’s sleep, meaning that it won’t act instantly, and so, it will require you to have a proper sleeping routine for it to work as intended.
Below the mattress’ far-infrared minerals-infused Venus FIT Layer, we then have a comfort-layer that’s composed of 1.5” of Soft Transition Memory Foam. This provides additional pressure relief to a person’s body by distributing their weight appropriately, which consequently helps to reduce the need for them to toss and turn just so they can feel more comfortable during sleep.
This 1.5” Soft Transition Foam comfort-layer is then followed by a second support layer that integrates 8” individually wrapped Innerspring Coils, which are covered by Spirited Edge reinforced edges.
These 8” individually wrapped Innerspring Coils give this hybrid mattress that same responsive support from traditional innerspring mattresses, all without the worry of having those wearing out after just a few months of using the GhostBed Venus Williams Legend Hybrid Mattress.
