DESIGN
Starting with the game’s kit, the LazySaxs game essentially consists of two small towers that have a funnel-cup attached to their top side at which you’re meant to toss the game’s sacks, while also integrating a large plate below it that will reward players with a lesser number of points in case they fail the cup but still manage to land the sack on the plate.
The game’s towers can be easily set up on dirt or sand by using the set’s stakes, and then attached with their plates and funnel-cups.
Alternatively, for times when you’re playing on hard surfaces like flooring or concrete, the set also comes with two solid cone bases that can be attached to the bottom of the game’s stakes to make them perfectly stable.
As for the sacks that the players are meant to toss, the game’s set comes with a total of four sacks knitted of high-quality wool which have a colorful party-themed design.
HOW TO PLAY? (RULES & GUIDELINES)
To play the LazySaxs game, you simply set up the game and a couple of chairs for the participants, who then will each take a turn and try tossing four sacks as accurately as possible at the game’s towers’ cups / plates while following the supplied point rules (if players feel like it).
The more accurate each player is at tossing their four sacks at the tower’s cups (or plates if they miss the cup), the more points they get.
Landing a sack at the raised edge of a cup will result in an Auto Win, while landing a sack inside the cup will yield a player with 3 points. Landing a sack that securely hangs from the cup’s edge will yield a player with 2 points, while landing it within the plate or having it just hanging from the plate’s edge will yield just 1 point.
Failing all those conditions and landing a sack outside the game’s tower’s cups or plates will result in -1 (negative) point.
Once a player has thrown their four sacks, their turn is finished.
The game itself moves fairly fast, and what’s really fun is that any surrounding friends can also participate while the game is in play by either just watching and cheering for the players or ultimately help with rulings.
