Cozyla Calendar+ Go (REVIEW) – Smart Digital Calendar w/ Multi-Platform Auto Sync

Nowadays, we rely heavily on smartphone alerts, email reminders, and calendar apps to plan and schedule just about everything in our daily lives. And despite having all these tools available, more often than not, we still tend to forget about something we scheduled in advance. Between work hours, online meetings, special dates with the family, activities with our kids, planned vacations, and anything else in between, it’s just so much to keep track of. What’s probably the worst part is keeping track of everything through our phones, which let’s be honest, isn’t really a pleasant experience due to how small the calendar app becomes in such a small screen. This made me search for a better solution, and that’s when I found out about smart calendars, more particularly the Cozyla Calendar+ Go, a sleek device that aims to make family scheduling and planning easier.

WHAT IS THE COZYLA CALENDAR+ GO?

The Cozyla Calendar+ Go is a portable smart digital calendar equipped with a large 32″ LCD rotating touchscreen boasting 1080p FHD resolution, making it easy to view schedules, reminders, and more at a glance. Its display is fully customizable, allowing you to drag and drop widgets like calendar, notes, to-dos, meal plan, music player, weather, and more. It comes pre-installed with Google Play Store for downloading most apps, and supports two-way sync with iCal, ensuring seamless synchronization with calendar apps like Google Calendar and Apple Calendar, along with split-screen for multitasking, and wireless screen mirroring for viewing the screen of your phone or tablet.

It also features a Screensaver mode that automatically plays photo slideshows, a Sleep mode that turns its screen off to save battery, Voice Assistant support for Google Assistant, and compatibility with Home Assistant and SmartThings. The device also has built-in dual 5W speakers and a microphone, a detachable 4K HD webcam for performing video calls and selfies, multiple input ports for connecting it to external devices, including HDMI, USB-C, and USB-A, and comes with a rolling stand with a built-in battery that offers up to 6 hours runtime.

With this smart digital calendar, you can easily organize your family’s daily routine and keep everyone’s schedules in sync, making it easier to plan personal tasks, shared house chores, and family activities for everyone in your household.

In case you’re still not convinced, here’s my hands-on review of the Cozyla Calendar+ Go, where I talk about my personal experience using this smart digital calendar for around a week’s time, discuss all of its standout features and functionalities in detail, and explain how it has improved my daily life overall.

    DESIGN & SPECS

First off, let’s talk about the device’s size. Despite having a considerably large display, this smart digital calendar doesn’t take up that much space, with the whole unit measuring just 17 inches wide by 28.87 inches tall, meaning you can easily set it up in just about any corner of your home.

    Cozyla Calendar+ Go – Dimensions

One of the things I love the most about this particular model (the Cozyla Calendar+ Go) is that the device also comes together with a rolling stand, which enables you to move this smart digital calendar between different rooms.

I really appreciate the addition of this accessory, as I enjoy doing my weekly workouts in my bedroom, or maybe in my living room, and having the option to bring the device to where I’m planning on working out is definitely a big plus.

The Cozyla Calendar+ Go also features a modern aesthetic, looking like a high-end piece of technology that any tech-savvy person would certainly be excited to use on a daily basis. Not only does it add up to your personal space, but it also makes your entire daily schedule much easier to manage thanks to all its smart functionalities.

When it comes to its screen, the device comes equipped with a large 32-inch IPS LCD touchscreen that boasts a 1080p FHD resolution (1920 x 1080 pixels), a 16:9 aspect ratio, and a 60Hz refresh rate, while also supporting 100% sRGB color gamut.

In short, you can expect a high-definition image quality, whether that’s simply for viewing your calendar, displaying some pictures, or even watching videos.

Its wide display also makes it incredibly easy to visualize and manage your whole calendar, and its screen’s touch interactions are also very responsive.

On a side note, I’d like to mention that for those hoping for an even higher resolution, the company’s Cozyla Calendar+ 2 (which is the second-generation model) offers that, featuring an equal-size 32-inch touchscreen that offers up to 4K Ultra-HD resolution. Keep in mind that this newer model (the Cozyla Calendar+ 2) does not come with a rolling stand, and instead comes with a fixed wall mount and a rotating wall mount.

Nevertheless, the Cozyla Calendar+ Go’s 32″ display is also rotatable, for which its screen supports 90º rotation, enabling you to have it in a horizontal or vertical layout, along with swiveling within 45º and tilting within 20º for adjusting its viewing angle.

In addition, this smart digital calendar also comes equipped with a set of built-in dual 5W speakers and a microphone that make it capable of reproducing audio and for capturing your voice (specifically for participating in voice or video calls, and also for controlling the device via your smart home’s voice assistant).

    NOTABLE SMART FEATURES

While its 32-inch screen makes it significantly easier to visualize schedules, as well as reminders, and more at a glance, the Cozyla Calendar+ Go does far more than just show your calendar and other notes.

Below are all of its key features, along with their biggest benefits.

    Built-in Google Play Store

As you’d expect from any smart digital calendar, the Cozyla Calendar+ Go comes pre-installed with the Google Play App Store, making it possible to download most apps as soon as you have it set up.

    Fully Customizable Dashboard

The device’s 32-inch screen works as a fully customizable dashboard, which enables you to drag and drop widgets like calendar, notes, to-dos, meal plan, music player, weather, and more.

Not only that, but you can also create multiple dashboards, as well as switch between them as necessary, which makes managing different family member’s weekly schedules so much easier.

I cannot emphasize how incredibly valuable this customization functionality is, as it enables me to manage both my schedule and my son’s schedule in a much more straightforward fashion.

    Family Shared Calendar w/ Two-Way Auto-Sync

Another really cool feature is the fact that this smart digital calendar also lets you keep your family in sync with a shared calendar function, as it supports two-way sync with iCal.

On top of that, the Cozyla Calendar+ Go also supports wireless screen mirroring, allowing you to cast the contents of your phone or tablet screen directly onto the digital calendar’s large display.

    BATTERY & BATTERY LIFE

As for its power, the device’s rolling stand comes equipped with a built-in rechargeable battery that offers up to 6 hours of battery life.

Recharging its stand’s battery only takes a few hours, so consider doing it over night.

Speaking of which, the device also features a Sleep Mode that once configured, enables you to schedule its screen to automatically turn Off and On before and after bedtime to save battery.
